Kudos

Shout out to Will, who passed is HRCI test! (A big exam in the world of Human Resources.) He's been busy with studying, homework and tests in addition to his internship and is doing great. I love you, Sweetheart. I'm proud of you for working so hard.

Love,

Anna

Grandpa Great

At first Reese would hardly go near Grandpa. This morning she not only gave him a hug when he asked for one, but she sat on his lap and let him look at "Where's Waldo" with her.

Thanks, Grandpa. What a precious moment.

Learning To Use The Big Girl Cup

Reese loves to steal Mamma's juice glass because I usually only give her water in the big girl cup. She had been doing well enough with water that yesterday we gave her her own apple juice- and half of it ended up in her lap.

She also has a tendency to hold the cup in one hand while her attention is on something else, which inevitably leads to disaster.

Smoothies are a little easier not to spill.

Hanging Out

In the room that Reese is staying in at G&G Great's, the walls are decorated with hats. It was only a matter of time before she asked me to let her try them on.

Reese has claimed her own set of playing cards- which comes in really handy when the adults are playing games and Reese doesn't want to be left out.

If you can't tel what she's saying, she's counting to two over and over.

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial day weekend was spend at Grandma and Grandpa Faber's house. It began Thursday with a graduation celebration for my awesome sister Shelly who is now officially a high school graduate.

We tested out the new pool right away. Reese had a good time. We would have gone swimming more, but Will and I got sick on Sunday and spend Monday (the actual holiday) recovering. Reese had been throwing up two days before, but that seemed like it was her only symptom. She didn't act sick or tired or even in discomfort. It was a different story for the adults. Blah.

Reese gets ready to swim

Happy Birthday, Reese. Reese's birthday is at the time of year when the weather is just starting to get colder. I wanted to get her a ride-on toy so I figured I would get it at the beginning of summer as a early birthday present. That was the idea, anyway. Turns out the toy is too big for her, but she loved it, anyway.

The iPhone

Okay, I guess it's more the I-phone.
