Recently with Reese's increased babbling she has learned some new tricks. She is working on doing them on her own but right now she still needs daddy's help and sometimes insists in his help. To intertain the world we are an awesome video.

First Mother's Day
Reese's first Mother's Day is also mine (as a mother, as it is for all first-time moms and babies, but it feels kinda special when it happens to you). Will prepared a great breakfast and Reese gave me the best present ever by going through the whole of Sacrament meeting without being loud or upset or difficult. And she let Daddy hold her the whole time. Nice.
Later, we went to visit my fam. I had so much fun talking with them, that Will had to go visit his mom without me. He took Reese, which gave me a break and allowed her to visit some cousins. The only problem is that time flies when you're having fun, and the day ended too soon. Oh well. Maybe next year will come soon enough.

Toast, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, plain yogurt with straw- and blackberries, drizzled with honey and accompanied with orange juice. Mmmmm... I stuffed myself.

Spring Fling
This past weekend Reese was invited to go swimming with the boy from downstairs, Dallas. She got to try out her new swim romper and splash around with toys and friends. She's practicing for the beaches of Jamaica!
Crawling... Or Not
Reese still doesn't seem to have much interest in crawling. Perhaps this is because she enjoys standing so much that she doesn't see the point in getting down on hands and knees. On the other hand, it may also be because the few times where she did get into a crawling stance, she ended up going backwards instead of forwards. Sometimes she backs up into (or under) things. I don't think she'll crawl.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I painted flowers on my front window so that people wouldn't have as easy a time looking in to our living room when we have the blinds up.
The other day I noticed that the morning sun cast some fun shadows on the wall. I don't know if you can tell very well from the picture, but it's a shadow of the big flower I painted on the window.

Photo Op
I love having friends that like to take pictures. I don't have very many pictures of myself and Reese because I'm usually the one behind the camera. Last week a girl in my ward took some pictures of Reese and I asked her if she would take some of the two of us. I'm so glad she did. I loved all the pictures that she took. Here are just a few:
